It’s a SAD SAD DAY for us who are FINDING WONDERLAND. I’ve cried all night. Literally watched the sun come up. Think I’ve got a hold on it now. Instead of hiding under the covers, which I’m sorely tempted to do, I’ve made this video to share the sad with you. Vulnerability, after all, staves off the isolation we are all tempted to feel when our hearts are broken.

These are rough times. Don’t forget to pause for wonder. Pursue awe. Follow your bliss. It’s your best defense against the Dark Arts of anxiety, fear and isolation. When you walk into a Wonderland for writing and stories and just know you’re home.

View the garden, get a glimpse inside the house and then take a walk down the lane to see the school they built and the church where papa was the parson and all girls but Anne are buried.   Then I’ll take you further down the lane so you can see how charming the village is. We’ll go INSIDE THE CABINET OF CURIOSITIES and down the cobblestones in the rain.   Just think: this time next year we could be here together on a Muse Juice tour. Let’s dream it’s so!

SHIT SHOW UPDATE #2 – Finding Wonderland the WTF edition. Since finding out that we cannot qualify for a loan even with perfect credit, no debt, a hefty deposit and 12 years of payment history, many of you have asked what’s our next step. Do we go home? Try another EU country? Rent? Give up the dream? Here’s my answer.

FINDING WONDERLAND!! Dragons, rabbits and thatch oh my!! Today we meet my dream house…hand made for DUIRWAIGH, with all the imagery that inspired me to start the worlds first mythopoetic and fairy tale gallery 23 years ago. It’s in the middle of nowhere on the coast of England. Nothing about it is convenient but everything about it is magical. A bit like myself, eh?   A riot of nonsense in an all too mundane world. I adore it. And the best bit? It’s got room for YOU!   Wanna come play?

On the cobblestones of Haworth, singing in the rain with Mary Poppins and learning all the Brontë sisters’ local haunts. You will DEFINITELY need to come with me here on a Muse Juice Tour. It’s got all kinds of secret treasures just ripe for Wonder Hunting!

We’re on the move south today. Investigating a few homes and event spaces in England. First stop is Haworth, home to the Bronte sisters. We’ll be looking around the cliffs that inspired Wuthering Heights and then move onto Oxford and the Cotswolds. Covid is on the rise in this area so we will be out and about very little, but will report on the wonders found!

FINDING WONDERLAND – Part 15 – THAT CEILING THOUGH! Even though this one doesn’t suit our needs, I couldn’t resist sharing its beauty with you. We’re finding a lot of these church conversions and some have the most charming features. Love the outside color of this one and that ceiling sends me on a magical journey every time I look at it. Checkered kitchen! AHHH! The inspiration! What would you most love to create here?
