HOUSE PORN in Scotland: The Cart House. If you take the video tour you will hear my thoughts on this but overall I have to say the photos do this no justice. The feeling and energy of the place is scrumptious. It’s a combo — old barn refurb. The garden, since it was raining, didn’t get near the attention it deserves. Feels like a little paradise. Could definitely see welcoming artists here.

My paperwork is officially submitted to the settlement offices here in the UK. Yesterday we drove into Edinburgh so my fingerprints could be taken and my face snapshotted. Since I am not an EU citizen like Silas, I had to be physically seen and documented before my paperwork could be submitted to the government agency. Then we walked to this pub to consider all the many many things that are currently out of our hands. We’ve done our part to get official here and now we wait. It’s not up to us.
